Natalie Wieber’s abstract, What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger? Fungicides’ Impact on the Spread of Antibiotic Resistance Genes within the Phyllosphere, was chosen for a talk at the 12th International Symposium on Leaf Surface Microbiology in Okinawa, Japan. Natalie will give a talk highlighting the results from her field research examining the role of fungicide application in the abundance and dispersal of antibiotic resistance genes in the bacterial community living on leaves.
